Babolat Pure Control Team Standard

Babolat Pure Control Team Standard Feedback/Comments

Used by Stanley

Estimated NTRP Level: 2.5 - 3.0

Style of Game: Baseliner with midium swing and little top spins. Double backhand. Likes to hit deep with angles. Not good volley

Price: HK$500 in 2004 (second hand price including strings)

Stringing: Luxilon brand with unknown model and unknown tension (because of second hand)

Users Comments: Offer good control and reasonable power for ground strokes. The racket is a bit heavy at head even it is a head light racket, and overall is quite heavy due to balance problem. As a result it is not easy to maneuver at net.

I can play quite good (from my points of view only) with this racket but the disadvantages are the racket is too stiff that it has a lot of vibration (I cannot play well without the babolat RVS damper and feel ached elbow and wrist); and it needs a lot of power to hit heavy and fast ground strokes which make me tire quickly and easily.

Recommendation: to players with strong arms seeking with good control.
